New Ambitions and Changes in the Group Riis Organization
[20.11 14:06] The company behind Team CSC is about to undergo some serious changes - among these the main company Group Riis has appointed a new Managing Director, 40-year-old Trey Greenwood.
”With Trey in charge we'll be able to unify and streamline our focus on different areas of business in the right way. We have high ambitions regarding development of our sponsor relations, events, merchandise, travel and all the other opportunities the company comes across and this is a very important step in the right direction. Apart from the day to day running of the cycling team, which we have well under control, we also need to consider the long-term prospects in various other areas. This is a brand new chapter in the company's history and I feel convinced that Trey is the right man for the job,” says Bjarne Riis.
Trey Greenwood is the former managing director of fitness chain SATS and has a background in Radisson SAS and the hotel business in California.
”It's a really interesting time for me to be joining Group Riis, because there's already a lot of business initiatives in the making. The team behind the cycling team is dynamic and very professional and it's obvious that the standards are high.
